Nacido en Medellín, Colombia, Juan Esteban Aristizabal, mejor conocido como Juanes, es quizá el primer músico latinoamericano que ha hecho el “crossover” al mundo anglo sin ni siquiera haber lanzado un solo ábum en inglés. Su canción A Dios le pido ha estado en el top de las listas en 12 países alrededor de tres continentes y pasó 47 semanas en la lista semanal de Billboard latino.
