Carlos Eduardo López Ávila, mejor conocido por su nombre artístico Jeremías, nació en Londres, donde sus padres vivieron por algún tiempo por razones de estudio. Regresó a Venezuela a los dos años y ahí vivió y desarrolló su carrera artística. Su música se distingue por ser una mezcla de trova, pop, salsa y rock.
