Encarnita (Kany) García tuvo su primera probadita de fama en el año 2004 durante el programa de talentos puertoriqueño conocido como Objetivo Fama. Por desgracia, Keny tuvo que abandonar el concurso debido a un accidente automovilístico que sufrió en ese tiempo. Por suerte las cosas han mejorado bastante para ella desde entonces y, después de trabajar como compositora por algún tiempo, lanzó su primer álbum Cualquier día en el 2007.
