Sin embargo, para muchas familias en México comprar útiles para sus hijos es poco menos que un lujo. Por esta razón es que vemos al candidato a la presidencia de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, decir que su gobierno proveerá útiles escolares para todos los niños del país, tal como lo hizo para los niños de la ciudad de México cuando fue su alcalde.
