Best known for creating The Ramones’ iconic logo, Mexican-born graphic designer Arturo Vega additionally served as the band’s art and stage illumination director and, prior to his death from cancer in 2013, was often known as the “fifth Ramone.” In this interview, Vega shares many fascinating details about his early life as an actor, emigration to the United States, and involvement with the legendary group.
