Sus comienzos como actriz no fueron fáciles. Primero consiguió un papel en “Inconquistable Corazón”, pero estaba en un país ajeno. Había gente dispuesta a ayudarla, y gente que se lo quería poner más difícil por ser uruguaya. Sin embargo su energía y su confianza en sí misma le permitieron triunfar. También el hecho de conocer al actor argentino Pablo Echarri le ayudó en su primera etapa en Buenos Aires.
