Hector Guerra is a Spanish-Bolivian artist known for his unique genre of music known as “electro latino,” which combines influences from hip hop, dancehall, reggae, cumbia, electronic and even Andean music. “What up?” was the first single from his debut album “Amor,” which came out in 2012 and went to number one on the iTunes Mexico chart.

This politically charged tune, rife with language that will get you sent to the principal’s office on at least three continents, won the Latin Grammy award for best video in 2003. Note that native speakers instantly recognize that much of the Spanish is sung in an exaggerated “gringo” accent, so you may not want to imitate it!!

Chico Trujillo is a New Chilean Cumbia band merging cumbia, ska, reggae and rock, among other styles. Enjoy this musical video where they perform "Fuera de mi vida."

Héctor Lavoe was a Puerto Rican salsa group and solo singer who lived from September 30, 1946 to June 29, 1993. Among his solo hits were “El Cantante," "Periódico de ayer" and "Bandolera,” which, despite protests from Puerto Rican feminists about its controversial lyrics, enjoyed great success there.

This chart topping hit single, "Colgando en Tus Manos," is sung by Venezuelan pop singer-songwriter Carlos Baute and features Spanish singer, Marta Sánchez. It is the first single from his seventh album, De Mi Puño y Letra and is considered both his breakthrough and trademark song as well as being both his and Sánchez's most successful single to date.
