From the El Chilenito [The Chilean] restaurant in Berlin, Germany, Lalo teaches us how to make Chilean empanadas using language full of "Chilean-isms" from his country's unique dialect.

Originally from Chile, renowned rock and metal musician Mauricio Nader relocated to Berlin, where he is currently finishing his degree. Today, he will tell us about one of the musicians he most admires: world-famous Chilean piano player Claudio Arrau, who also moved to Berlin as a young artist.

Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt. It’s also the theme of Bárbara Muñoz song “Miénteme” (“Lie to me”). Born in Chile, Ms. Muñoz moved to Mexico in 2006 to further her musical career as a singer and songwriter. As you’ll see in this video, “Miénteme” is an emotion-ridden plea not to know what she doesn’t want to know.

Los Tetas got together in their native Chile in 1994, where they honed a unique blend of funk, hip hop, and soul, and since then have bopped around the Americas, living in New York and Mexico. This track features a good natured appearance by fellow Chilean Germaín de la Fuente, whose romantic crooning has been swooning latin lovers since the early 70’s.
