His cover of the poignant song, "Los Caminos de la Vida" [The Roads of Life], was released as a part of his second solo album, "Los Rayos" [The Rays] in 2004 and speaks to the fact that the reality of life is often different from what we expected.

Renowned Dominican singer, songwriter, composer and producer, Juan Luis Guerra, performs a live rendition of the title track from his 1989 album, "Ojalá Que Llueva Café" ["I Hope That It Rains Coffee"].

Puerto Rican bandleader and singer of salsas and boleros, Gilberto Santa Rosa, is also known as "El Caballero de la Salsa" (The Gentleman of Salsa). His beautiful voice can be heard here on this ballad, "Que Alguien Me Diga" ("Let Someone Tell Me") from his 2008 album, Solo Bolero (Just Bolero).

Colombian singing sensations Shakira and Carlos Vives teamed up in 2016 for "La Bicicleta" ("The Bicycle"), a song which earned Latin Grammy Awards for Song of the Year as well as Record of the Year.

The Colombian music group, "Monsieur Periné," fuses such genres as jazz, pop and swing. "Mi libertad" ("My Freedom") is a single from their second album, Caja de música (Music Box), which was released in June 2015.
